Open Moxilla Thunderbird and select Tools > Account settings :- These screen shots are from Vista. XP, Linux and MAC may look slightly different
Select Add Account :-
Select Email account and click Next :-
Enter Your Name, the name you would like to be known as.
Enter your main Email Address (you@yourdomain.co.uk) as shown here.
PressNext :-

Ensure POP is selected and not IMAP
Enter your domain name into the Incoming Server box (www.yourdomain.co.uk) as shown above.
Press Next :-

Enter your email address (you@yourdomain.co.uk) asIncoming User Name as shown above.
Press Next :-
Enter a suitableAccount Name.
Press Next - and you should get a summary screen something like this:-

If you haven't set up your SMTP server, you will, in addition, be asked to fill in these details.
The details of these depends in your internet provider and you should use their recommended settings.
These will have been provided to you when you setup your broadband or dial-up connection.
