Open Outlook and select Tools > Account Settings... :- These screen shots are from Office 2007.
These settings are for a standard setup. Your IT network manager may require different settin. If ion doubt, please ask.
On the next screen click New...:-
You will then get the screen below:-
Check the Manually configure.... box and it will appear like below:-
Press Next :-
Ensure you have chosen Internet E-mail.
Press Next :-
Enter your email address (you@yourdomain.co.uk) in E-mail address and User name, see above. Enter your domain name (www.yourdomain.co.uk) in Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) (As per your ISP), see above. Check the Remember password box.
Ensure the Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) box is unchecked
Press Next :-
Click Finish and your account should be ready to use.
